SAP BRIM-CM / Convergent Mediation Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Convergent Mediation Consultant to support the ingestion, transformation, validation, and mediation of high-volume usage data into downstream charging and billing platforms. The ideal candidate will design and develop workflows using mediation agents, process high-volume usage data from multiple sources, implement transformation logic, optimize performance, and troubleshoot data processing issues.

Responsibilities:

- Design, configure, and support SAP Convergent Mediation workflows for usage data collection, validation, enrichment, normalization, aggregation, and routing.
- Build and maintain mediation agents, workflows, processing logic, file/event handling, and error-management processes.
- Ingest usage records from multiple source systems and transform them into formats required by SAP Convergent Charging (CC), Convergent Invoicing (CI), or other downstream billing/rating platforms.
- Implement mediation rules for duplicate detection, filtering, rejection handling, error correction, rerouting, and reprocessing.
- Support high-volume usage-event processing, including batch and near-real-time mediation scenarios.
- Analyze failed usage records, rejected files, mapping errors, missing attributes, duplicate records, and downstream handoff issues.
- Optimize mediation workflows for throughput, scalability, reliability, and recoverability.
- Collaborate with source-system, integration, SAP CC, SAP CI, FI-CA,



and data teams to validate end-to-end usage-to-cash flows.
- Prepare technical/functional documentation, workflow diagrams, mapping specifications, test scenarios, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials.
- Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), performance validation, cutover, operational readiness, and hypercare for mediation processes.

Mandatory Skills:

- Proven experience with SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) and related SAP modules (CC, CI, FI-CA).
- Strong understanding of high-volume data processing and mediation workflows.
- Experience in designing and implementing mediation rules and error handling processes.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data processing issues effectively.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with SAP tools and technologies related to billing and rating.
- Experience with data transformation and integration tools.
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques in data processing.
- Solid communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in SAP BRIM and Convergent Mediation.
- Certifications in SAP modules (CC, CI) are a plus.
