Position description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient professional to join our Central Quality Assurance Service Center at Jindal Stainless Limited. The role involves supporting quality assurance processes within the mining and metals industry, ensuring that all products and services meet stringent quality standards. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, analyze, and improve quality metrics, contributing to the overall operational excellence and compliance with industry regulations. This position requires a solid foundation in engineering principles, quality control methodologies, and data analysis to drive continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures specific to stainless steel production and processing.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with internal and external quality standards.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Analyze quality data and generate detailed reports to support decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Support root cause analysis investigations for product non-conformities and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain and calibrate quality testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of measurements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of documentation required for regulatory compliance and certification processes.
- Participate in cross-functional quality improvement projects and contribute technical expertise to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and assist in supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
- Provide training and guidance to junior team members and production staff on quality standards and best practices.
