- Call Handling: Receive emergency distress calls (like 108 or 112) and non-emergency patient transport requests professionally and calmly.
- Triage & Assessment: Gather vital information regarding the patient's condition, exact location (e.g., street, landmark), and contact details.
- Emergency Dispatch: Promptly dispatch the nearest available ambulance, paramedics, or first-responder vehicles based on urgency and severity.
- Pre-Arrival Instructions: Provide basic, life-saving medical guidance (e.g., CPR steps) to callers until medical help physically arrives on the scene.
- Coordination: Liaise seamlessly with ambulance drivers, local hospitals, and sometimes police or fire departments.
- Logging & Documentation: Maintain detailed,
real-time records of all calls, vehicle dispatches, and patient status updates
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Crisis Management: The ability to remain calm, focused, and empathetic under extreme pressure or during distressing calls.
