Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of overall experience in Product Management, Technology Strategy, IT Consulting, Digital Transformation, Enterprise Applications, Technology Architecture, or related areas.
- Significant experience in Banking and/or Insurance is mandatory.
- Proven experience leading technology assessments, transformation programs, application modernization, or enterprise product initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing multi-year product / technology roadmaps.
- Strong experience engaging with senior business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience working across multiple teams and functions in complex enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of modern technology trends, platforms, APIs, AI, front-end and back-end technologies.
- Experience working in large-scale transformation programs is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Applications Technology Strategy
- Lead comprehensive assessments of existing applications, platforms, technology stacks, processes, and architecture.
- Analyze current-state IT environments and identify gaps, risks, technical debt, scalability challenges, and modernization opportunities.
- Evaluate applications and platforms from business value, technology maturity, customer experience, scalability, security, and cost perspectives.
- Develop recommendations for application modernization, platform transformation, consolidation, replacement, or re-engineering.
- Define target-state technology and product vision aligned with business objectives.
2. Product Vision Roadmap
- Establish a clear product and technology vision for the next 2-3 years.
- Create strategic roadmaps covering product capabilities, technology modernization, platform evolution, and digital transformation.
- Translate business objectives into product priorities, initiatives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Define the execution strategy and sequencing of initiatives based on business value, technical feasibility, dependencies, and investment.
- Develop a balanced roadmap addressing short-term business priorities and long-term transformation goals.
3. Stakeholder Management
- Partner with business leaders, technology teams, architects, engineering teams, operations, product owners, and other stakeholders.
- Work effectively with people from different functions, levels, backgrounds, and technical disciplines.
- Facilitate stakeholder discussions to understand business needs, pain points, priorities, and future expectations.
- Present assessment findings, recommendations, technology strategy, and roadmaps to senior leadership.
- Build consensus across stakeholders and effectively manage conflicting priorities.
- Act as a bridge between business strategy and technology execution.
4. Application Modernization
- Lead strategic assessment of legacy applications and identify modernization opportunities.
- Define modernization strategies such as re-platforming, re-hosting, refactoring, re-architecting, replacement, or retirement.
- Assess application dependencies, integration architecture, technical debt, scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Recommend modern technology architectures and platforms that support future business growth.
- Drive modernization initiatives toward cloud-native, API-first, modular, scalable, and resilient architectures.
5. Technology Platform Exposure
The candidate should have strong conceptual and practical exposure to modern technology ecosystems, including:
- AI / Generative AI / Machine Learning
- API-led architecture and API Management
- Front-End technologies and contemporary digital experiences
- Back-End technologies and distributed systems
- Cloud platforms and cloud-native technologies
- Microservices and containerized architectures
- Enterprise application platforms
- Data platforms, analytics, and integration
- Digital channels and customer-facing applications
- Automation and emerging technologies
The candidate does not necessarily need to be a hands-on developer but must possess sufficient technology depth and thought leadership to assess technology choices, challenge technical assumptions, and guide product and modernization decisions.
6. Banking Insurance Domain Leadership
- Strong understanding of Banking and/or Insurance business processes, products, customer journeys, and technology ecosystems.
- Ability to understand domain-specific technology challenges and regulatory considerations.
- Experience working with enterprise applications and platforms supporting financial services.
- Strong understanding of digital transformation trends within Banking and Insurance.
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, automation, and digital adoption.
7. Analytical Strategic Thinking
- Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Analyze complex information and convert it into actionable recommendations.
- Evaluate multiple technology and product options and establish clear decision frameworks.
- Demonstrate strong thought process, strategic thinking, and commercial awareness.
- Challenge conventional approaches and identify innovative solutions.
- Balance customer needs, business value, technology feasibility, risk, and investment.
