Your role

- We are looking for a Principal Transport Planner (Strategic Modelling) to join our team. This role will be based at our AtkinsR alis office in Bangalore/Gurgaon, India.
- Appropriate academic and professional qualifications (Bachelor s Degree with Master s degree in transport planning / economics).
- Working experience (13+ years) in Transport Planning software like VISUM, SATURN, DIADEM, EMME.
- Experience and knowledge of Strategic Modelling techniques and guidance.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering transport planning/modelling projects for UK/ME/ USA/ Canada/ Australia regions.
- Strong Analytical skills with experience in handling and interpreting complex datasets.
- Experience in scripting using like Python, Excel-VBA and R.
- Strong understanding of ArcGIS/QGIS, PowerBI and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work in a team as part of a wider project with no supervision.
- Experience in leading smaller teams as part of a project delivery.
- Good written communication skills.
- Be able to delegate the tasks.
