About the Role:
Trooms Brands Private Limited is looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant Executive to support the Finance & Accounts department in managing daily accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in accounting entries, basic GST and TDS knowledge, and be proficient in Tally. This role requires accuracy, discipline, and the ability to maintain financial records while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting Operations
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions in Tally.
- Pass Sales, Purchase, and Journal entries.
- Record and maintain Expense entries with proper ledger allocation.
- Prepare and maintain Debit Notes and Credit Notes.
- Verify accounting entries for accuracy and completeness.
GST & TDS
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS provisions.
- Verify GST details in purchase and sales invoices.
- Assist in maintaining GST and TDS records for monthly compliance.
- Coordinate with the senior accounts team for statutory requirements.
Accounts & Reconciliation
- Reconcile receivables and payables.
- Assist in Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
- Maintain proper accounting vouchers and supporting documents.
- Ensure accurate filing of invoices, bills, and financial records.
Documentation & Coordination
- Coordinate with internal departments for accounting-related documents.
- Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist senior accountants with day-to-day finance operations.
- Day to day sales verification with Branch Coordination
Desired Skills
- Good knowledge of accounting principles.
- Hands-on experience in Tally ERP / Tally Prime.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
