Job Purpose:

Company ke liye required raw materials, furniture, hardware, fittings, fabrics aur other materials ko right quality, right quantity, right price aur right time par procure karna.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Material Procurement

Wood, plywood/MDF, veneer, laminate, foam, fabric, leatherette, hardware, fittings, glass, metal parts etc. ki purchasing.

Production aur inventory requirements ke according purchase planning.

Minimum stock levels maintain karna.

Vendor Management

New vendors/suppliers identify aur develop karna.

Existing vendors ke rates, quality aur delivery performance monitor karna.

Vendor negotiation aur price comparison karna.

Supplier relationships maintain karna.

Cost & Negotiation

Best possible rates par material purchase karna.

Quotations compare karna aur commercial negotiation karna.

Purchase cost reduce karne ke opportunities identify karna.

Purchase Orders

Approved requirements ke basis par PO raise karna.

PO mein quantity, rate, specifications,



delivery timeline aur payment terms verify karna.

Order status regularly follow-up karna.

Quality & Delivery

Material company specifications ke according aa raha hai ya nahi, ensure karna.

Delayed supplies ko vendors ke saath follow-up karna.

Rejected/defective material ke replacement ka coordination.

Coordination

Production, Store, Inventory, Accounts, Sales & Management ke saath coordination.

Production requirements ke according timely material availability ensure karna.

Inventory & Documentation

Stock consumption aur purchase requirements monitor karna.

Purchase records, vendor quotations, POs, invoices aur related documents maintain karna.

ERP/software mein purchase entries aur records update karna.

Market Research

New suppliers, materials aur market rates research karna.

Furniture industry mein recent materials/products ke price trends track karna.
