Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Design QC professional with 4–8 years of experience in the residential interior design industry. The candidate will be responsible for reviewing and ensuring the quality, accuracy, feasibility, and completeness of interior design drawings and documents before they move to the execution stage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform end-to-end quality checks of residential interior design projects.
- Review all types of design drawings and documentation including:
- 2D drawings
- 3D designs and renders
- Furniture layouts
- Modular kitchen designs
- Wardrobe designs
- Living, bedroom, dining and other residential spaces
- Electrical and lighting layouts
- False ceiling drawings
- Elevation and section drawings
- Detailed working drawings
- BOQ / material specifications
- Check drawings for accuracy, dimensions, measurements, detailing, functionality and design feasibility .
- Identify design errors, mismatches, missing details and execution-related issues before the project moves forward.
- Ensure designs comply with company standards, design guidelines and project requirements.
- Cross-check drawings, 3D visuals, BOQ and specifications for consistency.
- Validate material selections, finishes, hardware and design details.
- Coordinate with Designers, Project Managers, Estimation and Execution teams to resolve design-related issues.
- Provide clear and actionable feedback to designers and ensure corrections are completed.




- Conduct final quality checks before drawings are released for production/execution.
- Maintain QC checklists and track recurring design errors to improve overall design quality.
- Ensure designs are practical and executable at site.
- Support continuous improvement of design standards, templates and QC processes.

Required Skills

- 4–8 years of experience in Residential Interior Design / Design Quality Control .
- Solid knowledge of modular interiors and residential design.
- Excellent understanding of 2D, 3D, working drawings and technical detailing .
- Good knowledge of furniture, modular kitchen, wardrobe, electrical, ceiling and interior detailing.
- Strong understanding of dimensions, materials, hardware and construction feasibility.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify design discrepancies.
- Good knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape or similar tools .
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and work within timelines.
- Strong understanding of residential interior execution processes.

Qualifications

- Bachelor‘s/Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering or a related field .
- Prior experience in residential interior design companies is preferred.
