Role Description The Kitchen Steward role is a full time, on-site position based in Vijayawada. The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing work areas. This role supports food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by kitchen supervisors or chefs, ensuring that ingredients, utensils, and tools are properly organized and available. The Kitchen Steward assists with waste disposal, inventory of cleaning supplies, and compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.



The position requires close coordination with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service.
Qualifications

- Candidates should possess basic Food Preparation and Cooking skills to support kitchen operations safely and efficiently.
- Candidates should possess Dishwashing skills and understanding of kitchen cleaning procedures, including sanitization and waste management.
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills to coordinate with chefs, service staff, and other team members.
- Candidates should possess a commitment to Customer Satisfaction, supporting quality service through clean and well-organized kitchen workspaces.
- Ability to follow hygiene, safety, and food handling guidelines, with attention to detail and reliability.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen or hospitality setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
