Job Description:

Position: Sr.. Manager - Production

Location: Vapi

Experience: 15 – 20 Year

Industries: Chemical

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of production operations, including batch processing and chemical manufacturing
- Develop and enforce safety protocols to ensure a zero‑incident workplace
- Optimize production schedules to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies
- Manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers, supervisors, and operators, fostering talent development
- Oversee inventory control, raw material handling, and waste management in compliance with environmental regulations
- Collaborate with R&D;, quality assurance, and supply chain to align production with product specifications
- Prepare and present performance reports, KPIs, and budget forecasts to senior leadership

Required Skills:





- 15‑20 years of progressive experience in chemical or batch processing production environments
- Proven track record in managing large‑scale manufacturing plants with 100+ staff
- Robust knowledge of safety standards (OSHA, ISO 45001) and environmental regulations
- Demonstrated expertise in production planning, cost control, and process optimization
- Leadership skills with ability to mentor and develop high‑performing teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field; MBA preferred
- Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
