Currently, around 4,000 employees are working at CARIAD on the digital transformation of the car. CARIAD is working intensively on the software and technology platform for Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The first vehicles based on PPE will be the electric Porsche Macan and Audi Q6 e-tron. At the core of CARIAD is the development of the unified and scalable software and technology platform E³ 2.0 for all Group brands. E³ stands for ‘end to end electronics architecture’. The new software and technology platform is built from scratch and will be used first at the end of 2024 in Artemis, the lighthouse project of Audi. As of 2026, E³ 2.0 is due to be scaled by the Volkswagen brand with Trinity in the volume segment.

Job Description:
QA Engineer for DLCM Control Center development
Role OverviewExp: 3 to 11 yrs
As a QA Engineer, you will be a key contributor to the quality of the automated campaign management service within the DLCM Control Center, the central platform for creating, orchestrating, and monitoring large‑scale automated campaigns.You will ensure that complex campaign workflows (campaign creation, batch planning, rollout steering, monitoring, and automation) meet defined quality standards through structured testing, automation, and close collaboration with development and product teams.Key Responsibilities
- Design, create, and maintain test cases to verify system and functional requirements of campaign management features.
- Execute system, integration, and regression tests for automated campaign workflows.
- Contribute to and expand test automation, covering APIs and end‑to‑end frontend scenarios.
- Coordinate testing activities with developers, product managers, and system requirements teams.
- Provide feedback on testability of requirements and support early quality assurance.
- Execute and support user acceptance tests (UAT) and make results available to stakeholders.
- Ensure test results are synchronized with defect and change management processes.
- Continuously improve test processes, documentation, and quality standards across teams.
Technical Expertise
- Solid experience in software testing and quality assurance within complex systems.
- Over all system level understanding to give more coverage from SW testing to system level of testing
- Experience with test automation tools for API and UI testing.
- Understanding of REST APIs, system integrations, and data‑driven workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into build processes.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of cloud‑based and microservice architectures.
