Position Summary
n
The Program Manager will lead and drive projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams,
n
ensuring effective stakeholder communication and project execution. Responsibilities include
n
supporting senior leadership, overseeing project planning and updates, consistent communication
n
with clients and stakeholders and achieving quality and budget objectives.
n
Core Responsibilities
n

- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of solar energy projects.
n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
n
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
n
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and constraints.
n
- Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with goals and objectives.
n
- Allocate resources, tasks, and responsibilities to project team members.
n
- Monitor project progress, budgets,
and timelines; take corrective actions as needed.
n
- Communicate project status, updates, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
n
- Manage project contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships.
n
- Conduct regular project meetings, reviews, and status reports.
n
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure technical feasibility and alignment.
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
n
- Manage changes in project scope, objectives, and requirements.
n
- Foster a positive team environment that promotes collaboration and performance.
n
- Lead project risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies.
n
- Oversee project documentation, reporting, and record-keeping.
n
- Manage project procurement, including sourcing materials and services.
n
- Collaborate with regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals.

- Develop and implement strategies for quality assurance and quality control.
n
- Adapt project plans based on changing market conditions and challenges.
n
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior project team members.
n
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
n
- Collaborate with finance teams to manage project financials and cost tracking.
n
- Adapt to new project management tools, software, and techniques.
n
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
n
- Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.

- Foster relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.

Education Requirements
n
Bachelors/master's degree in electrical engineering
n
Technical Skills and Experience
n
Software Proficiency:
n
n
- MS Projects
n
- Primavera
n
- MS Office
n
n
Project Management:
n
n
- Experience in managing design projects from conception to implementation
n
- Ability to coordinate with other engineers and stakeholders
n
- Renewable Energy Systems:
n
- Understanding of solar energy systems and their integration into existing infrastructure
n
- Experience
n
- At least 4 years of relevant experience in the Solar Sector. (Consultancy experience is highly preferred).
n
n
Psychosocial Skills / Human Skills / Behavioural Skills
n
n
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Project Management experience a plus.
n
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ideas and run with them from concept
n
- to conclusion.

- Technical understanding of clean energy business processes

- Exceptional verbal and writing communication skills with superiors, peers, partners, and
n
- other stakeholders.
n
- Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever changing environment.

- Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
