About the Role

n

We are looking for a qualified CA with strong core fund accounting experience to join our team in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in fund accounting, NAV calculation, fund structures, financial reporting, and investor-related accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Manage end-to-end fund accounting activities for Private Equity, Alternative Investment, or Credit Funds.
n
- Perform and review NAV calculations , trial balances (TBs), fund accounting entries, and periodic closing activities.
n
- Maintain and review fund structures , books of accounts, and financial reporting.
n
- Handle management fee calculations, carried interest, waterfall calculations, and fund-level ratios .
n
- Prepare and review investor capital statements, financial statements, and periodic reporting packs.
n
- Perform cash, position, and balance reconciliations with custodians and other external parties.
n
- Support fund audits and respond to auditor queries with appropriate documentation and audit trails.
n
- Ensure compliance with applicable US GAAP / IFRS and fund accounting policies.
n




- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and demonstrate strong client communication skills.
n
- Identify process gaps and contribute to improving fund accounting and reporting processes.
n

Required Skills & Experience

n

n
- CA qualification with 4–8 years of post-qualification experience in core fund accounting.
n
- Robust hands-on experience in NAV, TBs, fund structures, fund reporting, management fees, carried interest, and ratios .
n
- Experience working with Private Equity / Alternative Investment / Credit Funds will be preferred.
n
- Exposure to fund accounting platforms such as eFront, Geneva, or Investran will be an added advantage.
n
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and US GAAP / IFRS .
n
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills .
n
- Ability to independently manage deliverables and effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
