Role Overview
The Senior Test Engineer will execute functional, integration, and regression testing for Central Securities Depository (CSD) platforms and related market?infrastructure systems. The role requires solid hands?on testing experience, strong understanding of CSD workflows, and the ability to independently design and execute detailed test cases. The engineer will work closely with the Test Lead, business analysts, and technology teams to ensure high?quality delivery of CSD functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Preparation
Analyse requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios and test data.
Develop comprehensive test cases, verification checklists, and traceability mappings.
Support the Test Lead in defining test coverage and execution plans.
Functional, Integration & End?to?End Testing
Execute functional and integration tests across core CSD workflows:
Bonds and Sukuk lifecycle
Repo and reverse?repo
Collateral management
Settlement (DvP), reconciliation, and corporate actions
Validate system behaviour across issuance, settlement, matching, reporting,
and asset servicing.
Regression & Automation Support
Maintain structured regression test packs.
Support automation teams in identifying suitable test cases for automation.
Execute automation?assisted regression cycles where applicable.
Documentation & Reporting
Document test results with transparent evidence (screenshots, logs, artefacts).
Log defects with precise reproduction steps and severity classification.
Maintain full traceability across requirements, test cases, and defects.
Quality Assurance Support
Participate in defect triage and retesting cycles.
Support UAT preparation and execution.
Ensure adherence to testing standards and templates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
4–5 years of experience in software testing, preferably within capital markets or post?trade systems.
