We are looking for a Mobile Test Automation Engineer to design, build, and maintain automated test suites for our mobile applications using **Maestro**, a modern UI automation framework for iOS and Android. You will work closely with mobile developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure high-quality, reliable app releases through robust end-to-end test coverage.

## Key Responsibilities
- Design, write, and maintain UI automation test flows using Maestro for iOS and Android applications
- Integrate Maestro test suites into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bitrise, Jenkins, GitLab CI)
- Identify, prioritize, and automate critical user journeys and regression test cases
- Debug and triage test failures, distinguishing flaky tests from genuine app defects
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability (accessibility IDs, secure selectors, etc.)
- Maintain and scale a reliable, maintainable test automation framework
- Monitor and report on test coverage, flakiness, and execution metrics
- Work with cloud device farms (e.g., Maestro Cloud, BrowserStack,



Firebase Test Lab) for cross-device testing
- Document test strategies, flows, and best practices for the QA team

## Required Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with **Maestro** (or willingness/aptitude to ramp up quickly given experience with similar tools like Appium, Detox, Espresso, XCUITest)
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture (iOS and/or Android)
- Experience writing test flows in YAML or similar declarative formats
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into pipelines
- Basic scripting ability (JavaScript, Shell, or Python) for custom test logic
- Understanding of mobile UI/UX patterns and common failure points (network conditions, permissions, deep links, push notifications)
- Experience with version control (Git)
- Strong debugging and analytical skills
