Job Description
1. Job Purpose
n
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities for the recruitment consultancy.
n
The role involves building relationships with companies, HR departments, recruitment managers, hospitals, corporates, and other organizations requiring manpower, while ensuring achievement of business development and revenue targets.
n
The BDE will also work closely with the Recruitment and Operations teams to ensure successful execution of client requirements.
n
2. Key Responsibilities
n
A. Business Development & Lead Generation
n
n
- Identify and develop recent clients through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, networking, references, and market research.
n
- Generate qualified leads from companies requiring recruitment and manpower solutions.
n
- Research target industries, companies, decision-makers, and hiring requirements.
n
- Develop a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
n
- Schedule meetings and presentations with prospective clients.
n
- Understand client manpower requirements, hiring volumes, job profiles, locations, salary ranges, and timelines.
n
- Convert leads into business opportunities and recruitment mandates.
n
n
B. Client Acquisition
n
n
- Present the company's recruitment services and value proposition to prospective clients.
n
- Prepare and submit commercial proposals, service offerings, and recruitment solutions.
n
- Negotiate commercial terms, recruitment fees, payment terms, and service agreements within company guidelines.
n
- Follow up consistently with prospective clients to close business.
n
- Obtain signed agreements / recruitment mandates from clients.
n
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
n
n
C. Client Relationship Management
n
n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with HR Managers, Talent Acquisition Heads, Recruitment Managers, Business Owners,
and other decision-makers.
n
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
n
- Understand changing manpower requirements and identify opportunities for additional business.
n
- Maintain regular communication with clients and provide updates on recruitment progress.
n
- Address client concerns and coordinate internally for timely resolution.
n
- Develop long-term relationships to generate repeat and referral business.
n
n
D. Recruitment Coordination
n
n
- Identify new sectors and geographical markets for recruitment business.
n
- Track market trends, hiring patterns, salary trends, and competitor activities.
n
- Identify opportunities in sectors such as Healthcare, IT, Hospitality, Aviation, Manufacturing, and other specialized domains, depending on company focus.
n
- Coordinate with the recruitment team to understand client requirements and candidate availability.
n
- Communicate job descriptions, selection criteria, interview processes, and client expectations to the recruitment team.
n
- Monitor recruitment assignments and ensure candidates are submitted within agreed timelines.
n
- Coordinate interviews, feedback, selection, offer, and joining processes where required.
n
- Follow up with clients for interview feedback and candidate status.
n
- Ensure that client commitments are properly communicated and fulfilled.
n

F. Sales Target & Performance Management
n
n
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development targets.
n
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure regular follow-up.
n
- Track lead-to-meeting, meeting-to-proposal, proposal-to-client, and client-to-revenue conversion ratios.
n
- Maintain accurate records of all business development activities in CRM / MIS.
n
- Submit periodic sales reports to management.
n
n

- Knowledge of recruitment / staffing / manpower consulting.

- Experience in B2B sales.

- Experience dealing with HR departments and corporate clients.
n
- Knowledge of LinkedIn and other digital lead-generation platforms.
n
- Experience in international recruitment / overseas manpower recruitment will be an advantage.
n

4. Qualification & Experience
n
Education:
n
Graduate in any discipline. MBA / PGDM in Marketing, Sales, HR, or Business Management will be an advantage.
n
Experience:
n
2–5 years of total experience in Business Development, B2B Recruitment Consulting, Staffing.
n
At least one year in B2B Sales and Recruitment Consulting
n
Fresh graduates with excellent communication skills and strong sales aptitude may also be considered.
n
5. Compensation
n
Salary: As per Industry standards, depending on experience and capability.
