Job Description

n

We are seeking experienced, qualified, and passionate academicians for the position of Professor / Associate Professor in Cybersecurity. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching, mentoring students, guiding academic and research activities, and contributing to curriculum enhancement and departmental development.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, laboratory activities, and hands-on learning in Cybersecurity and related areas.
n
- Mentor students under NEP 2020 mentorship framework; guide students opted for AEDP and own the job roles for mentoring.
n
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, presentations, research, and industry-oriented activities.
n
- Incorporate contemporary cybersecurity practices, real-world security scenarios, case studies, tools, and experiential learning into teaching.
n
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
n
- Contribute to research, publications, seminars, workshops, FDPs, and other academic activities.
n
- Develop industry linkages and facilitate industry interactions, live projects, internships, guest lectures,



and cybersecurity-related activities.
n
- Contribute to department development and institutional academic activities.
n

Qualifications

n

n
- For Professor
n
- PhD and Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering / Computer Applications / Information Technology with 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
n
- Minimum 10 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor
n
- at least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
n
- For Associate Professor
n
- PhD and Master's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering / Computer Applications / Information Technology with 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity.
n
- Minimum 8 years of experience in teaching/ research/ industry out of which at least 2 years shall be post Ph.D experience.
n
- at least 6 research publications in SCI journals/ UGC/ AICTE approved list of journals.
n
- Strong academic and professional foundation in Cybersecurity and related areas.
n
- Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, and classroom engagement skills.
n
