Roles and Responsibilities

1. Operations Management:

- Manage daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food & beverage, and maintenance.

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure seamless operations.
n
- Monitor inventory and manage procurement of supplies while controlling costs.
n

2. Guest Experience:

n

n
- Ensure all guests receive a personalized and memorable experience.
n
- Handle guest complaints and feedback professionally to ensure satisfaction and brand loyalty.
n
- Monitor online reviews and social media mentions to address any concerns promptly.
n

3. Team Leadership:

n

n
- Recruit, train, and manage staff to deliver excellent customer service.
n
- Create staff schedules to ensure optimal coverage.
n
- Motivate and inspire the team to maintain high morale and a positive work environment.
n

n

4. Financial Management:

n

- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
n
- Analyze revenue streams and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
n
- Monitor occupancy rates, pricing strategies, and expenses to achieve financial targets.
n

5. Sales & Marketing:

- Collaborate with marketing teams to create campaigns that drive bookings and revenue.
n
- Build partnerships with local businesses, travel agencies, and influencers to promote the hotel.
n
- Monitor and manage the hotel's website and online booking platforms to ensure maximum visibility.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure the hotel complies with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
n
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety.

- Stay updated on local laws and industry trends.

Desired Candidate Profile

n

Education: Degree/Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field

n

Experience: Proven experience in hotel management, preferably in backpacking hostels.

n

Skills:

n

- Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
n
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and revenue management.
n
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and online booking platforms.
n
- Strong marketing and networking skills.
n
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Gross Salary: INR 22,000 + variable sales incentives
