Overview :

n

Responsible for supervising and executing plant projects, installation, civil/mechanical/electrical works, machine installation, modification, commissioning and infrastructure development while ensuring timely completion, safety, quality and cost control.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

n

n
- Supervise day-to-day execution of plant projects and infrastructure activities.
n
- Coordinate installation, erection, commissioning and shifting of production and packaging machinery.
n
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, mechanical, fabrication and external contractors.
n
- Prepare project execution schedules and monitor progress against timelines.
n
- Ensure project work is completed as per approved drawings, specifications and standards.
n
- Monitor manpower, material availability and contractor productivity.
n
- Verify measurements, work completion and contractor bills before submission.
n
- Identify project delays, technical issues and resource requirements and escalate promptly.
n
- Ensure safe working practices, PPE, work permits and site safety compliance.
n




- Coordinate with Production, QA, Maintenance, Stores and EHS teams during project execution.
n
- Maintain project documentation, progress reports, drawings, approvals and handover records.
n
- Support commissioning, trial runs and performance verification of new equipment.
n
- Ensure proper handover of completed projects to Maintenance/Operations.
n
- Control project wastage and support cost-effective execution.
n
- Conduct regular site inspections and ensure housekeeping at project locations.
n
- Support CAPEX projects, plant expansion, layout modification and utility projects.
n

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Strong project execution and site supervision skills.

- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and civil works.
n
- Ability to read basic engineering drawings and layouts.
n
- Contractor and manpower management.
n
- Planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
n
- Good MS Excel and documentation skills.
n
- Strong communication and follow-up ability.
n
- Ability to work in a manufacturing/food-processing workplace.
n

EDUCATION:

n

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Production or relevant engineering discipline.
