A Site Manager for Operations and Maintenance (O&M;) leads the on-site technical, safety, and administrative operations of utility-scale solar or renewable energy assets. The role focuses on maximizing plant performance ratio (PR), ensuring high equipment availability, managing local grid compliance, and supervising field engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plant Performance Optimization: Monitor daily generation data, SCADA parameters, and auxiliary consumption to maintain peak energy yield and target performance ratios.
- Maintenance Management: Oversee scheduled preventive maintenance and rapid breakdown rectification for inverters, transformers, HT switchyards, and solar modules.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict Health, Safety, and Setting (HSE) standards, LOTO procedures, and local statutory or grid-code compliance across the site.
- Contract & Vendor Coordination: Manage on-site third-party contractors, module cleaning crews, and OEM warranty claims or service level agreements (SLAs).
- Reporting & Inventory: Track spare-parts inventory, manage site logs, and submit structured monthly operational and financial performance reports
