Purpose of the position:

• Planning, design and documentation based on official approvals, qualification reports, physical principles, international building regulations and internal and external test reports.

Tasks:

• Analyzing and interpreting official approvals, qualification reports, physical principles, international building regulations and internal and external test reports, & provide firestop solutions based upon their needs

• Analyzing and completing customer inquiries through direct communication with the Lead Engineer. Meet assigned deadlines for project assignments

• Suggest to team leader recent product opportunities, approval extensions and testing based on experience

• Planning,



designing and documenting of approvals considering the product portfolio of the respective country.

• Plan, conduct and negotiate internal and external fire tests with institutes.

• Assist with onboarding and training of new design engineers

• Provide engineering support for firestop requests through the appropriate systems and tools (HCP, ServiceNow, Decisions.com, phone, email, conference call and others)

• Educate Hilti personnel on testing processes, firestop properties, additional attributes, application knowledge and procedures according to relevant building codes

• Review content developed for external training to include but not limited to seminars, webinars, and externally posted online training documentation
