Bajaj Finserv Web is a critical component of the company's omnipresence strategy. You will be working with India's largest NBFC's web and mobile technology stack, encompassing over 40 business lines and 230+ features, with nearly 500 million traffic and managing over 30,000 webpages.
It is an integrated platform offering a portfolio of products covering payments, cards, wallets, loans, deposits, mutual funds, and loans on lifestyle products, ranging from consumer durables to home furnishings.
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Architect for App and Web Automation and Test Management to own the end-to-end automation strategy, test architecture, and quality engineering roadmap across web and mobile (Android/iOS) platforms.
The National Lead– App & Web Automation and Test Management will design, build, and scale enterprise-grade automation frameworks, drive test management best practices, and lead large QA teams to deliver high-quality, high-velocity releases across business and technology functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Define and own the enterprise automation strategy and roadmap for App (Android/iOS) and Web platforms.
• Architect scalable, reusable automation frameworks using Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Establish automation standards, coding guidelines, and reusable component libraries across teams.
• Drive framework decisions for cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform test coverage.
Test Management & Governance
• Own end-to-end test management processes including test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting across projects and releases.
• Implement and govern test management tools (JIRA, Zephyr, qTest, ALM/TestRail) for traceability and metrics.
• Define quality gates, entry/exit criteria,



and release readiness checklists for functional, regression, and non-functional testing.
• Drive risk-based testing approaches to optimize coverage and cycle time.
App & Web Automation Delivery
• Lead automation of functional, regression, and API test suites for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for continuous testing.
• Oversee performance, security, and accessibility testing coordination for app and web platforms.
• Drive adoption of AI-assisted testing/self-healing automation tools to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance overhead.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of automation architects, test managers, and QA engineers.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and Business teams to align testing strategy with release goals.
• Drive capability building, hiring, and performance management within the QA/automation team.
• Present quality metrics, risks, and release readiness to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Process Improvement & Innovation
• Continuously evaluate and introduce recent tools, frameworks, and best practices to improve test efficiency and coverage.
• Establish metrics and dashboards (defect density, automation coverage, cycle time) to track and improve QA maturity.
• Drive a culture of quality engineering across the SDLC, shifting testing left wherever possible.
