Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Sewing Trainee to learn garment sewing operations and support the production team. The trainee will receive hands-on training in machine operation, stitching techniques, garment construction, quality standards, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Learn to operate industrial sewing machines safely and efficiently.
- Follow sewing instructions, patterns, and production specifications.
- Perform basic stitching and garment assembly operations under supervision.
- Maintain required stitch quality, measurements, and finishing standards.
- Inspect work for defects and correct basic sewing issues.
- Follow production targets and supervisor instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sewing workstation.
- Follow company quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
- Develop skills to operate different sewing machines as required.




- Support the production team with other assigned sewing-related tasks.

Requirements
- Basic knowledge or interest in garment stitching and sewing.
- Willingness to learn and work in a production environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Previous sewing experience or vocational training is an advantage, but freshers can apply.

Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of garment construction.
- Familiarity with sewing machines.
- Ability to identify basic stitching defects.
- Positive discipline, teamwork, and punctuality.

Working Conditions
- Factory/garment production environment.
- May require standing or sitting for extended periods.
