About the Role

n

We are looking for a proactive and organized Operations & Project Coordinator to manage operational projects, coordinate cross-functional teams, improve processes, and ensure timely execution of business initiatives for a growing Canadian fintech/mortgage startup.

n

Key Responsibility

n

n
- Manage projects from planning to execution and closure.
n
- Assign tasks, track timelines, follow up on deliverables, and ensure accountability.
n
- Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
n
- Create and track KRAs, KPIs, and team performance.
n
- Coordinate with Operations, Product, Compliance, Marketing, and other teams.
n
- Maintain project trackers, reports, dashboards, and documentation.
n
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements.
n
- Handle operational tools, marketing operations, and back-office coordination.
n




- Provide regular project updates and stakeholder communication.
n

Requirements

n

n
- 3–6 years of experience in Operations, Project Management, or Project Coordination.
n
- Master's degree in Operations Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
n
- PMP Certification is mandatory.
n
- Strong experience in project tracking, process improvement, SOPs, and stakeholder coordination.
n
- Experience with KRAs/KPIs and performance tracking.
n
- Good knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and project management tools.
n
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
n
- Strong ownership and ability to work independently.
n
- Startup/Fintech/Mortgage experience is a plus.
n
