Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and result-oriented Project Lead to oversee the end-to-end execution of construction projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, managing project schedules, mitigating risks, and driving operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Execution
- Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
- Ensure project milestones are achieved within approved timelines and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address delays and risks.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and quality functions.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance management to project team members.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and senior management.
- Conduct regular review meetings and communicate project status,
challenges, and mitigation plans.
Cost & Budget Management
- Monitor project budgets, cash flows, and cost forecasts.
- Review and approve project expenditures in line with budgetary guidelines.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive value engineering initiatives.
- Ensure proper management of project variations, claims, and change orders.
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, project specifications, company standards, and industry best practices.
- Monitor quality assurance and quality control processes throughout project execution.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements.
- Lead project audits, inspections, and project handover activities.
Risk Management
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues impacting project performance.
- Maintain risk registers and proactively address potential project challenges.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present project progress reports to senior leadership.
- Track key project performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure timely preparation and maintenance of project documentation, contracts, reports, and records.
