The Asset Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing audits of the companys equipment assets.

This role ensures that all equipment is accounted for, maintained, and utilized efficiently, while also ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

-Equipment Management

- Ensure Accurate tracking and documentation of all equipment assets, including acquisition, maintenance and disposal.
n
- Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to verify that equipment is in positive working condition and being used effectively.
n
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive equipment inventory database.
n
n
-Process Improvement
n
n
- Analyse current equipment management processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
n
- Implement best practices for equipment management, including regular maintenance schedules and proper utilization.
n
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements.
n

-Reporting and Documentation
n
n
- Prepare detailed audit reports, including findings,
conclusions and recommendations for management.
n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all audit, including equipment inventories, audit schedules and compliance documentation.
n
- Provide regular updates to senior management on the status of the equipment audits and any significant findings.
n

-Audit Planning and Execution
n

- Develop and implement audit plans for the company's assets.
n
- Conduct regular audits of equipment inventory, usage and maintenance records.
n
- identify discrepancies, inefficiencies and areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.

-Stakeholder Collaboration

- Collaborate with operations, procurement, finance and maintenance teams to ensure that equipment is managed effectively across the organisation.
n
- Serves as the point of contract for external auditors or regulatory bodies during equipment audits.
n
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support the implementation of audits recommendations.
