Blurring Boundaries is a Mumbai-based architecture studio working on contextual, sustainable and nature-driven projects across India.
n
Our work explores the relationship between architecture, landscape, climate and materials — creating spaces that are rooted in their surroundings while pushing the boundaries of contemporary design.
n
We are looking for a Junior Architect (1–3 years experience) to join our growing team and work closely with the design team across various stages of projects.
n
n
Role & Responsibilities
n
• Develop architectural drawings and design documentation based on the studio’s design direction
n
• Translate concepts into detailed plans, sections, elevations and working drawings
n
• Create and develop 3D models and visualisations
n
• Explore materials, details and construction solutions
n
• Assist in consultant coordination and project documentation
n
• Support site coordination and understand execution processes
n
• Participate in design reviews, discussions and presentations
n
n
What we are looking for

• Strong interest in architecture and design exploration
n
• Valuable imagination and spatial understanding
n
• Ability to develop ideas through drawings, models and details
n
• Eye for materials, proportions and architectural detailing
n
• Interest in sustainable, contextual and material-driven architecture
n
• Willingness to learn, experiment and grow with the studio
n
n
Software Skills
n
• AutoCAD (essential)
n
• SketchUp / Rhino
n
• Twinmotion or similar rendering tools
n
Knowledge of Rhino, organic modelling and complex geometries will be an advantage.
n
Candidates should be based in Mumbai or willing to relocate independently.
n
