About the Role

n

We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our growing team in Chennai. In this role, you will be part of our Chennai-based outsourcing team, working closely with our UK counterparts to deliver high-quality financial support. You'll handle daily bookkeeping functions, support monthly reporting, and communicate with UK clients—all while being trained on UK accounting systems and expectations.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
n
- Perform daily bookkeeping: bank reconciliations, A/P, A/R, and payroll support
n




- Record journal entries and ensure compliance with UK accounting standards
n
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closings
n
- Use cloud-based accounting software like Xero and QuickBooks
n
- Liaise with UK clients and accountants in a timely and qualified manner
n
- Maintain organized digital records and uphold internal process standards
n

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting
n
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and journal entries
n
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks preferred)
n
- Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written)
n
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
n
- CA Inter / ACCA / CPA certification is a plus
n
