About the Role

We are looking for an Accounting ERP Specialist – Cost Structuring to design and implement the cost architecture within our ERP ecosystem. This is not a routine accounting operations role—it is a system-building opportunity for someone who enjoys translating complex business processes into scalable financial structures.

The successful candidate will develop an end-to-end cost framework that provides accurate project costing across land acquisition, construction, design, marketing, amenities, and corporate overheads while ensuring financial transparency and decision-ready reporting.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Cost Structure Design

n

n
- Design and implement the Chart of Cost Accounts, Cost Centers, and Cost Categories within the ERP.
n
- Develop a scalable cost architecture for multiple projects across different cities.
n
- Configure BOQ-linked cost structures wherever applicable.
n
- Ensure the structure supports future business expansion and new project launches.
n

Cost Allocation & Project Accounting

n

n
- Develop logical and auditable cost allocation methodologies for:
n
- Shared corporate overheads
n
- Marketing expenses
n
- Design and architecture costs
n




- Administrative costs
n
- Phase-wise project capitalization
n
- Land acquisition and development costs
n
- Common infrastructure and amenities
n
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirements.

Budgeting & Cost Monitoring

n

n
- Configure Budget vs. Actual reporting within the ERP.
n
- Develop meaningful variance reports for project leadership.
n
- Build intuitive dashboards that enable management to review project financial health quickly.
n
- Improve reporting visibility for founders, finance leaders, and project heads.
n

Business Process Integration

n

n
- Work closely with Project, Construction, Finance, Procurement, and Site teams to understand actual cost flows.
n
- Translate operational workflows into efficient ERP configurations.
n
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance cost visibility and financial control.
n

Continuous Improvement

n

n
- Refine and optimize the ERP cost framework as projects evolve.
n
- Ensure consistency, scalability, and data integrity across all projects.
n
- Support automation initiatives related to project accounting and financial reporting.
n

Desired Candidate Profile

n

Experience

n

n
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience configuring Project Accounting or Cost Accounting modules within ERP systems.
n
- Experience with Tally Prime, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, Zoho Books, or similar ERP platforms.
n
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, EPC, construction, manufacturing,



or project-driven businesses is preferred.
