Role Overview

n

The Creative Designer will be responsible for designing new products, developing prototypes, creating compelling content, and ensuring a strong brand presence across e-commerce and social media. This is a hybrid role combining fashion design , product development , Visual storytelling, creative execution , and digital content creation .

You will take ideas from scratch → design → budgeting → vendor coordination→ prototyping → photoshoot → listing → social media content → final customer experience.

n

This role is ideal for someone who is both creatively driven and execution-focused.

Key Responsibilities

n

Creative & Design:

n

· Develop new products across fashion, event design concepts , and theme ideas for various celebrations — birthdays, weddings, festivals, and corporate events.

n

· Prepare mood boards, sketches, tech packs, and style guides.

n

· Design and conceptualize décor sets, gifting ideas, and small-budget event products .

n

· Collaborate on visual presentations, prototypes,



and styling direction for new product launches.

n

· Research current trends in event décor, art, and color palettes to create fresh concepts.

n

· Research trends, materials, colors, and design ideas relevant to Indian celebrations.

n

· Design packaging materials, product tags, labels, and Booncart’s signature unboxing experience.

n

Production Execution & Budgeting

n

· Estimate production costs and prepare basic budgets for samples and final products.

n

· Identify cost-effective materials, trims, and packaging solutions.

n

· Work closely with local markets, suppliers, and vendors to source materials.

n

· Track production timelines, sample iterations, and maintain quality control.

n

· Maintain product documentation, inventory of samples, and design archives.

n

· Ensure product quality, attention to detail, aesthetic consistency, and market relevance.

n

3. Photo & Video Content Creation

n

· Plan and execute high-quality product shoots (photo and video).

n

· Shoot prototypes and final products using an in-house setup.

n

· Capture styling shots, detail shots, flat lays, packaging visuals, and lifestyle mood content.

n

· Edit images/videos for catalog, website, and social media.

n

· Maintain a clean, consistent visual style aligned with Booncart’s brand.

n

4. Social Media Content Development

n





· Plan and create content calendars aligned with product launches and campaigns.

n

· Design engaging reels, posts, lookbooks, and story content.

n

· Write captions, tag products, and apply trending formats where suitable.

n

· Maintain daily posting consistency and brand tone.

n

· Track platform insights and adapt content for growth and engagement.

n

6. Brand Building & Misc. Creative Work

n

· Support in designing festival collections, seasonal campaigns, and gifting ranges.

n

· Create digital marketing assets—ads, posters, brochures, lookbooks.

n

· Assist in POP displays, event stalls, booth design, or packaging setups.

n

· Participate in brainstorming sessions for new ideas, collaborations, or vendor onboarding.

Skills & Qualifications

n

· 2–4 years of experience in fashion design, product design, or creative digital roles.

n

· Strong understanding of Indian sourcing, fabrics, trims, and material markets.

n

· Ability to handle end-to-end product development—from idea to prototype to shoot.

n

· Proficiency in design tools: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom, Premier Pro, or similar.

n

· Comfortable working on shoots, editing content, and preparing high-quality visuals.

n

· Strong grasp of social media trends, content pacing, and digital storytelling.

n

· Knowledge of e-commerce backend basics and listing systems.

n

· Detail-oriented, organised, and capable of managing multiple projects in a startup setup.
