About the Role

We are looking for a Writer & Researcher who can take ownership of research and scripting for our YouTube content.

Our company is led by Sarthak Goswami, a YouTube creator, and the role will involve working closely with the content team to develop well-researched, engaging, and factually accurate YouTube videos.

This is not a traditional content-writing role. We are looking for someone who understands YouTube storytelling and can turn complex topics, current events, and interesting stories into scripts that are informative, engaging, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and develop topics for YouTube videos and other digital content.
- Write complete YouTube scripts from research to final draft.
- Conduct deep research using credible sources, news reports, government documents, research papers, interviews, databases, and other reliable sources.
- Fact-check information, statistics, claims, names, dates, and references before publication.
- Identify interesting angles, hooks, narratives, and storylines for videos.
- Convert complex information into simple, conversational, and engaging scripts.
- Follow current affairs, politics, social issues, business, internet culture, and emerging trends to identify potential content opportunities.
- Work closely with the content and production teams to develop and refine scripts.
- Research supporting material such as documents, visuals, videos, quotes, data, and references for production.
- Help with ideas and scripts for YouTube Shorts and other social media formats when required.
- Maintain accuracy, originality,



and consistency across all content.

What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, research, journalism, scripting, or digital media.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Previous experience writing YouTube/video scripts is highly preferred.
- Ability to conduct deep research and distinguish between credible and unreliable sources.
- Strong understanding of YouTube storytelling, audience retention, hooks, and narrative structure.
- Candidates with prior experience working with a media company, YouTuber, content creator, or digital media platform will be preferred.
- Excellent command of English; familiarity with Hindi/Hinglish is an advantage.
- Strong interest in current affairs, politics, social issues, business, and internet culture.
- Ability to take feedback positively and continuously improve scripts.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience working with a YouTuber, content creator, digital media company, news organisation, or editorial team

will be preferred.
