Key Requirements:

1. Build and customize WordPress themes from scratch and from design files.
2. Work with child themes, template hierarchy, hooks, filters, and the WordPress template loop.
3. Develop and modify basic custom plugins and short codes for client-specific requirements.
4. Integrate and troubleshoot third-party plugins (WooCommerce, ACF, Yoast, form builders)
5. Handle site performance, responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and basic on-page SEO hygiene.
6. Manage deployments, migrations, backups, plugin/core updates, and basic security hardening
7.



Build quick-turnaround marketing sites and landing pages on no-code platforms when the project calls for it.

Required Skills:

1. 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development
2. Strong grasp of the WordPress working model: template hierarchy, hooks and filters, custom post types, taxonomies, WP_ Query, options and meta-APIs.
3. Solid theming skills: PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap or Tailwind.
4. Working knowledge of MySQL and the WordPress database structure.
5. Basic plugin development capability (custom functionality, admin screens, settings pages)
6. Familiarity with Element or / Gutenberg block editor and ACF.
7. Git version control, cPanel/hosting basics, staging-to-production workflow.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
