Job Summary The Fitter is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of textile machinery and equipment to ensure smooth production operations. The role involves preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance, equipment alignment, and continuous improvement of machine performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of textile machinery such as:
- Airjet Looms
- Rapier Looms
- Sizing Machines
- Warping Machines
- Cone Winders
- Compressors and Utilities Equipment
- Inspect, diagnose, and rectify mechanical faults in machines and equipment.
- Conduct machine overhauling, alignment, fitting, and assembly activities.
- Replace worn-out machine parts, bearings, shafts, gears, belts, and couplings.
- Ensure proper lubrication and maintenance schedules are followed.
- Support machine installation and commissioning activities.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend improvements to reduce downtime.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and logbooks.
- Coordinate with production teams to minimize machine stoppages.
- Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements,



and company maintenance standards.
- Maintain housekeeping in the workshop and production areas.

Required Qualifications
- ITI – Fitter / Mechanical Trade (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)

Experience
- 2 to 8 years of experience in textile machinery maintenance.
- Experience in weaving, spinning, processing, or sizing departments preferred.
- Familiarity with Toyota, Picanol, Tsudakoma, Sulzer, or similar textile machines is an added advantage.

- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair

- Knowledge of bearings, gears, belts, shafts, and hydraulic systems
- Basic welding and fabrication knowledge

Salary As per industry standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹15,254.91 - ₹32,039.10 per month
