Position: Boiler Operator

Department: Utilities / Engineering

Location: Textile Manufacturing Unit

Reporting To: Engineering Manager / Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Boiler Operator with 10+ years of experience in operating and maintaining 4 TPH to 10 TPH boilers in a manufacturing workplace. The candidate will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of boilers, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor 4 Ton to 10 Ton steam boilers efficiently and safely.
- Maintain required steam pressure and temperature for production operations.
- Conduct routine checks on boiler systems, pumps, valves, pipelines, and related equipment.
- Monitor water levels, fuel consumption, pressure gauges, and safety devices.
- Ensure proper water treatment and maintain boiler water quality parameters.
- Start-up and shut-down boilers as per standard operating procedures.
- Record and maintain boiler logbooks, operational reports, and maintenance records.




- Identify equipment abnormalities and coordinate with the maintenance team for corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Boiler Act, Factory Act, and safety regulations.
- Perform preventive maintenance activities and assist during boiler overhauls.
- Optimize fuel consumption and minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in the boiler house.

Required Qualifications
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical qualification.
- Valid Boiler Operation Certificate / Boiler Attendant Certificate as per statutory requirements.
- Knowledge of steam generation systems, water treatment, pumps, compressors, and utility equipment.

Experience
- 10+ years of experience in operating 4 TPH to 10 TPH boilers.
- Experience in textile, processing, spinning, weaving, or manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong understanding of boiler safety standards and preventive maintenance practices

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
