Head of Department, Parul Institute of Performing Arts;

KRAs of HOD, Faculty of Performing Arts:

- Academic Leadership: Ensure quality curriculum planning, teaching delivery, and academic excellence in Dance, Music, Theatre, and allied disciplines.
n
- Faculty Management: Supervise faculty workload, mentoring, appraisal and development activities.
n
- Student Development: Promote student performance, participation in competitions, productions, workshops and placements/opportunities.
n
- Research & Innovation: Encourage research publications, creative productions, practice-based research and funded projects.
n
- Industry & Cultural Linkages: Build collaborations with cultural institutions, artists, academies and industry professionals.
n
- Administrative Management: Oversee budgeting, scheduling,



infrastructure, accreditation, compliance and departmental reporting.

Educational Qualification:

n

n
- Master’s Degree in the Performing Arts discipline (Dance/Music/Theatre) with excellent academic records.
n
- Ph.D. in relevant discipline preferred/mandatory as per university norms.
n

n

n

Experience:

n

n
- 5-7 years of teaching/qualified experience in higher education or reputed cultural institutions.
n
- Minimum 3–5 years of academic/administrative leadership experience as Program Coordinator/HoD/Equivalent.
n
- Proven record of research publications, productions, and performances.
n
