n We are looking for an experienced and highly creative Interior Designer to design and execute a modern luxury home in Chandigarh.
n
n The ideal candidate should be comfortable working closely with an architect, understanding architectural drawings in detail, and translating them into refined, functional, and high-end interior spaces. Strong coordination between design intent, drawings, and on-site execution is essential.
n
n We are seeking someone with a strong understanding of contemporary, modern, and sophisticated residential interiors, with an exceptional eye for detail, materials, finishes, lighting, furniture, and overall aesthetics.
n
n Key Responsibilities
n
n * Collaborate closely with the architect to understand drawings, layouts, and design intent.
n * Develop the complete interior design concept for a modern luxury residence.
n * Design living spaces, bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, entertainment room, bar, gym, and other areas.
n * Prepare layouts, mood boards, 3D visualizations, material selections, and detailed drawings.
n * Interpret architectural drawings and convert them into detailed interior execution plans.
n * Select premium materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and accessories.
n * Coordinate with architects, contractors, carpenters, electricians, vendors, and other consultants.




n * Conduct regular site visits and oversee execution to ensure the design is delivered to the highest standard.
n * Manage design detailing, site coordination, and execution-related issues.
n * Ensure consistency between approved drawings, materials, workmanship, and final execution.

n Candidate Requirements
n
n * 5+ years of experience in interior design.
n * Must have proven experience designing modern luxury homes.
n * Strong ability to read, understand, and work with architectural drawings.
n * Only candidates with a solid portfolio of luxury residential projects will be considered.
n * Experience with high-end materials, custom furniture, premium lighting, and luxury finishes.
n * Strong knowledge of modern and contemporary design.
n * Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar software.
n * Excellent understanding of construction details and in office execution.
n * Strong communication, coordination, and project-management skills.
n * Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard for quality.

n Location: Chandigarh
n Employment Type: Project-based / Freelance
n Experience: 5+ years
n Compensation: 60k - 80k, based on experience and portfolio
