Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AR Caller to join our US Healthcare RCM team. The candidate will be responsible for following up with insurance companies and patients regarding outstanding claims, resolving billing issues, and ensuring timely collections. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience in Accounts Receivable follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

- Make outbound calls to insurance companies to follow up on pending, denied, or underpaid claims.
- Review and analyze aging reports to prioritize accounts for collection activities.
- Investigate claim denials and rejections and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Update claim status, payment details, and follow-up notes accurately in the billing system.
- Coordinate with internal billing, coding, and documentation teams to resolve claim-related issues.
- Identify trends in denials and recommend process improvements.
- Escalate unresolved accounts to the appropriate team for further action.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly productivity and quality targets.




- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and company policies.
- Follow up on appeals, reconsiderations, and claim resubmissions as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and claim activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 2 - 5 years of experience in AR Calling within US Healthcare RCM.
- Robust understanding of medical billing, insurance claims processing, and Accounts Receivable workflows.
- Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid payers.
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to analyze EOBs, ERAs, and payer portals.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and healthcare billing software.
- Ability to work independently and manage high volumes of accounts efficiently.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in Physician Billing or Hospital Billing.
- Knowledge of denial management, appeals, and claim resolution workflows.
- Familiarity with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding concepts.
- Ability to handle high call volumes while maintaining quality standards.
- Experience working with payer portals and RCM tools.

Educational Qualification

- Any Graduate (preferred).
- Relevant certification in Medical Billing/Coding is an added advantage.
