Role Description The Video Editor role at Viral Viu is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhubaneswar.

The Video

Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage into polished videos, including cutting, arranging, and synchronizing audio and visual assets to match project goals and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include color grading, adding motion graphics and visual effects, integrating graphics elements, and optimizing content for various social media platforms. The role involves close collaboration with creative strategists, designers, and other team members to interpret briefs,



refine concepts, and ensure delivery of high-quality, engaging video content.

The Video

Editor is also expected to maintain organized project files, meet deadlines, and contribute ideas that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Video Production and Video Editing skills for both short-form and long-form content.
- Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading and basic visual enhancement to maintain consistent, high-quality aesthetics.
- Candidates should possess Motion Graphics and Graphics skills for creating engaging titles, overlays, and visual elements.
- Candidates should demonstrate proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) and graphics tools (e.g., After Effects, Photoshop).
- Candidates should have a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual composition, with attention to detail and sound design.
- Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively in a team setting, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
- A diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.
- Prior experience editing content for social media platforms and understanding of platform-specific best practices is an advantage.
