About The Role

We are looking for a creative, technically skilled, and highly responsible Video Editor & Social Media Content Executive to join our team in Chennai.

The candidate will be responsible for editing video content, creating attractive thumbnails and promotional creatives, and publishing/managing content across our social media platforms. Since our company handles feature films across all major Indian languages, the role requires an understanding of entertainment content, digital platforms, audience engagement, and social media trends.

This is a 100% on-site position at our office in T. Nagar, Chennai.

Key Responsibilites

? Video Editing

- Edit feature-film-related content, movie clips, scenes, trailers, teasers, promos, shorts and promotional videos.
- Create engaging YouTube videos, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Facebook videos and other short-form content.
- Perform cutting, sequencing, transitions, colour correction, audio synchronization, subtitles and basic sound editing.
- Prepare videos in platform-specific formats, resolutions and aspect ratios.
- Create engaging opening sequences, titles, end screens and promotional elements.
- Ensure videos maintain professional visual and audio quality before publishing.
- Repurpose existing film content into multiple social-media-friendly formats.

? Thumbnail & Creative Design

- Design attractive and click-worthy YouTube thumbnails.
- Create social media posters, banners, promotional creatives and campaign artwork.
- Select suitable film stills, images, typography and layouts to maximize audience engagement.




- Maintain consistent branding across different language channels and pages.

Social Media Publishing & Management

Responsible for publishing and maintaining content across:

- ▶️ YouTube
- ? Facebook
- ? Instagram
- ? X / Twitter
- ? Snapchat

Responsibilities include

- Uploading videos and Shorts/Reels.
- Writing/formatting titles, descriptions, hashtags and keywords.
- Adding thumbnails, subtitles, metadata and other required information.
- Scheduling content according to the publishing calendar.
- Maintaining multiple channels/pages based on different Indian languages.
- Monitoring basic performance metrics such as views, reach, engagement and watch time.
- Keeping track of trends and identifying opportunities for better content performance.

?️ Content Environment

Our company works with Indian Feature Films and Entertainment Content across multiple regional languages, including Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi and other Indian languages.

The selected candidate should therefore be comfortable working with multilingual film content and maintaining separate channels/pages according to language and content category.

? Required Software Skills

Strong working knowledge of at least some of the following:

- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- Adobe Photoshop
- Canva
- Adobe After Effects – Added Advantage
- DaVinci Resolve – Added Advantage
- CapCut / Other Qualified Editing Tools
- AI-based video, image and creative tools

Candidates who are comfortable learning and implementing AI tools for video editing,



thumbnail creation, image enhancement, content creation and workflow automation will have an added advantage.

? Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

- Creative and passionate about films and digital media.
- Experienced in professional video editing and social media content creation.
- Highly attentive to detail.
- Able to create visually attractive thumbnails and promotional creatives.
- Familiar with YouTube and other major social media platforms.
- Able to work with multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Comfortable working with content in different Indian languages.
- Proactive in identifying social media trends and content opportunities.
- Willing to learn new editing, AI and digital-media technologies.
- Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of unreleased and licensed film content.

⭐ Preferred Experience

1–3 years of relevant experience in video editing, digital media, YouTube channels, film/television production, music labels, OTT, media companies or social media content creation is preferred.

Freshers with excellent editing/design skills and a strong portfolio may also be considered.

? Salary & Growth

₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.

Performance-based salary revision and growth opportunities may be provided based on quality of work, consistency, productivity and overall performance.
