Key Responsibilities Analyze and Migrate: Actively participate in the analysis of existing interfaces on SAP PO and collaborate with the integration team to design and re-platform them onto SAP CPI. ABAP Development for Integration: Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable OData services (both standard and custom) to expose business data for CPI consumption. Develop and maintain SOAP-based ABAP Web Services and ABAP Proxies (Client & Server) for synchronous and asynchronous communication scenarios. Create and modify ABAP programs for complex file-based integrations (e.g., reading/writing files from AL11, FTP/SFTP) and ensure they align with recent CPI patterns. Enhancements and Customizations: Implement custom logic using BAdIs, User Exits, and the Enhancement Framework to support current integration requirements without modifying standard SAP code. Troubleshooting and Debugging: Perform in-depth debugging of standard and custom SAP programs, reports,



and function modules to troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues during development, testing, and post-go-live support. Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants (FI, SD, MM), CPI developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver end-to-end solutions. Code Quality and Documentation: Adhere to best practices and coding standards, perform code reviews, and create comprehensive technical documentation for all developed objects. Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in custom ABAP code to ensure optimal system response times for integrated processes. Required Skills and Experience (Must-Haves) Overall Experience: 5-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
