/n Position Summary : /n As a Payroll Manager you will lead our growing payroll team. This position will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities in the organization's client facing payroll function and being a resource for our payroll specialists, associates and assistants. /n Essential Duties and Responsibilities : /n /n
- This position is responsible for processing payroll as needed, training new hires, assigning new clients, problem resolution, and department procedures.
/n
- Prepare and lead meetings and trainings for our payroll team.
/n
- Conduct interviews, performance reviews and provide coaching where needed for the payroll staff.
/n
- Function as a leader in all initiatives and mentors team to ensure operational excellence.
/n
- Train recent employees and clients on payroll procedures, software, company practices, policies and procedures.
/n
- Develop best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy of payroll processes.
/n
- Review and recommend improvements to existing payroll procedures.
/n
- Ensure that payroll is processed timely and accurately.
/n
- Prepare client and employee wage summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leaves, retirement savings and benefits.
/n
- Work with AP and taxes to process current year and prior year voids.
/n
- Address payroll related queries and requests.
/n
- Analyze payroll problems and provide appropriate resolutions.
/n
- Follow and enforce federal, state and local laws.
/n
- Participate in hiring process, performance reviews, pay changes and progressive discipline.
/n
- Prepare and lead monthly staff meetings.
/n
- Monitor and hold accountable team to complete CRM cases and tasks.
/n /n Education & Experience : /n /n
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
/n
- FCP or CPP required for this position.
/n
- 10+ years of payroll experience.
/n
- 3+ years PEO, ASO multi-state payroll experience.
/n
- Experience with PRISM and HR Pyramid preferred
