Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven US IT Recruiter with 3+ years of experience to join our growing team in Mumbai. In this role, you will operate as a high-performing Individual Contributor, managing the full recruitment lifecycle for specialized IT roles. Additionally, you will utilize your experience to mentor and guide junior recruiters, helping them sharpen their sourcing techniques and understanding of the US staffing ecosystem.

Mandatory Requirement: To be considered for this role, you must have proven experience recruiting for US State Government or Federal clients, with a robust grasp of their specific compliance, clearance, and submittal processes.

Key Responsibilities

Individual Contribution

- End-to-End Recruitment: Source, screen, interview, and present qualified IT candidates for US State Government and Federal projects.
- Government Compliance: Navigate complex public sector requirements, including specific vendor management systems (VMS), strict submittal formats, and compliance checks.
- Sourcing & Pipeline Building: Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, and boolean strings to find specialized technical talent.
- Tax Terms & Visas: Confidently screen candidates based on tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099)



and evaluate visa status/clearance eligibility (US Citizens, Green Cards, EADs, Public Trust, etc.).

Mentorship & Team Support

- Guide Junior Recruiters: Act as a peer mentor to junior team members, helping them understand complex IT requirements and public sector nuances.
- Sourcing Strategies: Shared best practices for sourcing passive candidates, conducting initial screenings, and overcoming negotiation hurdles.
- Quality Assurance: Assist junior peers in reviewing resumes and formatting profiles to meet strict client standards before submission.

Mandatory Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated experience in US IT Recruitment.
- Public Sector Expertise: Must have direct, hands-on experience working on US State Government (State agencies/MSP portals) or Federal client requirements.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the ability to confidently pitch opportunities to US-based consultants.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT terminologies, software development lifecycles, and engineering roles.
- Shift & Location: Ready to work a permanent Night Shift onsite at our Mumbai office.
