Associate Media Consultant at El Sol Strategic Consultants [ESSC]

Client and Media Relations:

n

● Liaise daily with clients and media via telephone and email.

n

● Build strong relationships and networks with colleagues, clients, and media.

n

● Act as a representative for El Sol Strategic Consultants in public relations efforts.

n

● Support development media relations strategies to secure high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media.

n

● Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media.

n

● Promote news stories and features to the media and sell them effectively.

n

● Prepare regular client reports and attend client meetings.

n

● Collate, analyze, and evaluate media coverage.

n

Monitoring and Research:

n

● Monitor traditional and new age media, including newspapers, journals, broadcasts, social media, and blogs, for client opportunities.

n

● Conduct trend forecasting for clients and their respective industries.

n

● Undertake research for new business proposals and present them to potential clients.

n

Marketing Coordination:

n

● Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and influencers.

n

● Explore and create opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships, and advertising.

n

Event and Campaign Management:

n

● On-ground presence at events,



including press conferences and promotional activities.

n

● Promote client events via public relations platforms.

n

● Document all campaigns, including briefs, scripts, and testimonials.

n

● Prepare presentations, campaign taglines, and interview responses.

n

Content Creation and Documentation:

n

● Research, write, and disseminate press releases to targeted media.

n

● Assist with the production of client publications, such as newsletters and in-house magazines.

n

● Design, write, and/or produce presentations, articles, leaflets, and promotional materials.

n

● Coordinate photography for studio or location shoots.

n

Crisis Management:

n

● Support seamless crisis management and troubleshooting.

n

Client Relationship Management:

n

● Ensure 100% client retention by delivering exceptional service.

n

● Maintain a network of resources for deployment as needed.

n

● Provide clients information about current promotional opportunities and current PR campaign progress.

n

● Manage client expectations and ensure satisfaction.

n

Strategic Planning:

n

● Assist in creation of quarterly and annual brand marketing strategies and roadmaps aligned with client business goals along with senior media consultants.

n

● Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and offer relevant communication strategy recommendations.

n

Knowledge Upkeep:

n

● Maintain relationships and databases with key stakeholders.

n

● Stay updated on emerging trends, technologies, and influencers.

n
