About the Role

n

Thermaissance is looking for an experienced Microbiologist / Infection Control qualified to support infection-control initiatives, hospital engagements, clinical research, scientific activities and evidence generation related to healthcare textiles and infection prevention.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Provide clinical and microbiological expertise in infection prevention and control (IPC) activities.
n
- Support Thermaissance in identifying and engaging with suitable private and government hospitals, infection-control teams, microbiologists and investigators .
n
- Provide inputs on hospital infection-control practices, protocols, implementation challenges and opportunities for improvement.
n
- Support the design and coordination of infection-control related clinical research studies , including research questions, protocols, endpoints and study tools.
n
- Coordinate with investigators, hospital teams and participating sites for study feasibility and implementation.
n
- Monitor research activities, review study data and provide scientific/microbiological interpretation and recommendations.
n
- Support development and review of clinical, microbiological and infection-control evidence for Thermaissance products and research.
n
- Participate in KOL meetings, conferences, CMEs,



roundtables and scientific discussions as mutually agreed.
n
- Prepare, review or deliver scientific presentations related to infection prevention, healthcare-associated infections and Thermaissance-supported research.
n
- Provide inputs for health technology assessment (HTA) and other evidence-generation activities, where relevant.
n
- Support documentation, scientific reports, publications and other agreed research outputs.
n

Eligibility

n

n
- BSc / MSc Microbiology or relevant qualification in microbiology, infection control or a related field or MBBS / MD
n
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant hospital-based experience in Infection Prevention & Control is mandatory.
n
- Prior experience working with hospital infection-control committees/teams will be preferred.
n
- Experience in clinical research, study coordination or scientific publications will be an advantage.
n
- Strong understanding of hospital infection-control practices, microbiology and healthcare-associated infection prevention.
n
- Good communication, presentation and stakeholder-management skills.
n
