About the Opportunity
Priority1 Group is looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our marketing team on a short-term contractual basis.
We are working on the redesign of an established service-based website and need someone who can help us improve its overall user experience, visual presentation and usability while working closely with our marketing, SEO, content and development teams.
This is a hands-on role based at our Bengaluru office and is best suited to someone who can take ownership of the design process while collaborating with different teams.
What You'll Be Working On
- Review the existing website and identify UI/UX improvement opportunities.
- Understand different user journeys and translate them into practical design solutions.
- Create wireframes, page layouts and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
- Redesign key website pages with a strong focus on usability and conversion.
- Create responsive designs for desktop and mobile.
- Improve navigation, content hierarchy and calls-to-action.
- Develop reusable UI components to maintain consistency across the website.
- Work closely with our marketing, SEO and content teams to ensure design decisions support wider business objectives.
- Collaborate with developers during implementation and provide clear design handovers.
- Review developed pages to ensure they accurately reflect the approved designs.
- Incorporate feedback and make revisions throughout the project.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, particularly for websites.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating website redesign and UX work.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma.
- Experience with wireframes, prototypes, user journeys and responsive design.
- Positive understanding of modern website usability and conversion principles.
- Ability to design with both user experience and business objectives in mind.
- Understanding of how UI/UX decisions can interact with SEO and website content.
- Comfortable collaborating with marketers, content specialists and developers.
- Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned work.
- Available to work on-site from our Bengaluru office for the duration of the engagement.
Good to Have
- Experience designing WordPress websites.
- Experience with healthcare, disability, professional services or other service-based websites.
- Understanding of website accessibility principles.
- Experience creating or maintaining design systems.
- Experience working on established websites where existing content and SEO performance need to be considered.
