UAV Pilot /n Required years of Experience: (2-5) years of experience /n Job Location: Bangalore /n • To conduct flight operations of prototype small UAVs (both fixed wing and VTOL) /n • To support military and civilian customer operations and carry out demonstration flights /n • To contribute to design, development and operational adaptation of current UAVs to meet customer requirements /n • To carry out mission planning for UAV operations, including payload operations /n • To launch and recover aircraft, conduct UAV flying (both Fixed wing and VTOL) in team with External Pilot /n • To operate various sensor systems as required by the mission /n • To understand technical and operational limitations and laydown safety criteria accordingly /n • To participate in mission / task briefings and post flight debriefs / data analysis /n • To review airspace requirements and operate systems safely and within the applicable flight regulations; or as specified by the customer requirements /n • To prepare Test plans, Checklists and SOPs for conduct of UAV operations /n • To assist in UAV maintenance, preparation,



troubleshooting and lab testing /n • To coordinate within the flight operations team for planning and execution of flight tests /n • To assist in spares / components / inventory management of Unmanned Aerial System. /n • To carry out proper documentation of UAV maintenance, testing and flight operations /n • Understanding of UAV operations /n • Payloads functionalities, integration /n • Interest in radio controlled aerial vehicles, at least two years of experience as UAV operator /n • Ability to perform outdoor assignments, in extreme climatic conditions (for short periods) /n • Ability to lift and carry 20 kg of load unassisted for short distances /n Technical Know/How /n • UAV Design and development, subsystems, components /n • Mission Planning, Documentation /n • Data handling, data analysis /n • Adequate computer literacy; should be proficient in MS Office tools /n Soft Skills / Behavioural Competencies /n • Willing to travel frequently to field locations /n • Keen learner, attention to details /n • Good communication skills; both written and oral
