Role Summary : To manage the organization's treasury operations, banking relationships, funding requirements, insurance portfolio, risk management framework, and working capital optimization while ensuring compliance with regulatory, statutory, and internal governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Treasury Management

- Manage day-to-day treasury operations, cash flow planning, and liquidity management.
- Monitor cash positions across bank accounts and ensure optimum utilization of funds.
- Prepare short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.
- Drive working capital optimization initiatives.
- Monitor borrowing limits and debt utilization.
- Ensure timely servicing of debt obligations including interest and principal repayments.
- Evaluate and implement treasury strategies to improve yield on surplus funds.
- Manage investments in accordance with approved treasury policy.

Banking & Fund Raising

- Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks, financial institutions, and lenders.
- Negotiate banking facilities, interest rates, fees, and documentation.
- Arrange working capital facilities, term loans, ECBs, bank guarantees, letters of credit, and other financing arrangements.
- Coordinate with lenders for renewals, enhancements, and compliance requirements.
- Review and negotiate loan agreements, sanction letters, and security documents in consultation with legal teams.
- Monitor covenant compliance under financing agreements.
- Support debt refinancing and fund-raising initiatives.

Insurance Management

- Develop and implement the company's insurance strategy and risk mitigation framework.
- Manage all corporate insurance programs including:
- Property Insurance
- Marine Insurance
- Liability Insurance
- Crime & Cyber Insurance
- Directors & Officers (D&O;) Insurance




- Coordinate policy renewals and negotiations with insurers and brokers.
- Evaluate adequacy of insurance coverage and identify risk exposures.
- Manage claims administration and settlement processes.
- Monitor claim recoveries and ensure timely closure of claims.

Risk Management

- Identify and assess financial risks including:
- Interest Rate Risk
- Foreign Exchange Risk
- Liquidity Risk
- Counterparty Credit Risk
- Recommend appropriate hedging strategies.
- Monitor compliance with treasury and risk management policies.
- Support implementation of risk mitigation measures across treasury activities.

Financial Planning & Reporting

- Prepare treasury MIS, cash flow reports, debt reports, and management dashboards.
- Present borrowing, liquidity, and insurance updates to senior management.
- Track treasury KPIs and financial commitments.

Compliance & Governance

- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI requirements, and other applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Manage lender reporting requirements and covenant monitoring.
- Coordinate with auditors for treasury and insurance-related audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and records relating to borrowings, securities, guarantees, and insurance policies.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and governance standards.

Desired Qualifications

CA / MBA Finance / CMA

Experience

- 8-15 years of experience in Treasury, Banking, Corporate Finance, or Insurance Management, Accounts Payable, Digitalization
- Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, or large corporate environments preferred.
- Robust exposure to fund raising, banking negotiations, treasury operations, and insurance claim management.
