Coordinate daily with truck drivers regarding pickup, loading, unloading, routes, and delivery schedules. Track and monitor the location and movement of trucks throughout their journey. Take regular updates from drivers and maintain accurate truck-status information.

Monitor truck movements to ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Have strong knowledge of Punjab cities, districts, villages, highways, and major truck routes. Coordinate with drivers, customers, transporters, warehouses, and internal departments.

Handle delays, breakdowns, traffic issues, route changes, and other transportation-related problems. Maintain daily records of truck numbers, driver details, locations, trips, delivery status, and expenses. Maintain transportation registers and documentation with neat and legible handwriting.

Manage and coordinate multiple trucks and trips simultaneously. Provide timely updates to management regarding truck and delivery status. Identify opportunities for cost cutting and transportation cost reduction.

Optimize routes to reduce fuel consumption, unnecessary mileage, waiting time, and travel time. Minimize empty truck movements and improve overall truck utilization.



Monitor fuel consumption and identify unnecessary or excessive expenses.

Reduce avoidable detention, waiting, overtime, and additional transportation charges. Maintain proper records for transportation expenses and operational costs. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transportation reports.

Ensure transportation activities follow company policies and safety requirements.

Required

Skills2–5 years of experience in transportation coordination, fleet management, logistics, dispatch, or a similar role. Excellent truck driver coordination skills. Practical experience in truck tracking and fleet monitoring.

Strong knowledge of Punjab geography and transportation routes. Good verbal communication and follow-up skills. Strong coordination and multitasking abilities. Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent situations. Strong focus on cost cutting and transportation efficiency. Positive record-keeping and documentation skills. Neat and legible handwriting. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer operations.

Knowledge of GPS/truck tracking applications is an advantage.
