Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership & Control

n

n
- Maintain strong financial governance and internal financial hygiene.
n
- Ensure real-time and accurate tracking of budgets, cash flows, forecasts, and financial performance.
n
- Own project-level P&L; management with strict budget adherence throughout the production lifecycle.
n
- Monitor financial health and recommend corrective actions to optimize profitability.
n

2. Investor, Partner & Compliance Management

n

- Lead financial reporting and compliance for investors, partners, and other key stakeholders.
n
- Ensure fund deployment aligns with contractual obligations and approved budgets.
n
- Maintain audit-ready financial records and documentation.
n
- Support due diligence, audits, and regulatory compliance requirements.
n

3. Process Optimization & Operational Efficiency

- Identify financial and operational inefficiencies across functions.
n
- Design and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and cost efficiency.
n




- Streamline cross-functional communication and financial workflows.
n
- Establish standardized processes to improve governance and reporting accuracy.

4. Production Financial Management

n

- Monitor real-time production expenses against approved budgets.
n
- Reconcile production-related costs and establish robust financial controls.
n
- Oversee vendor payments, contract compliance, and cash flow planning.
n
- Identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the production lifecycle.
n

5. Client & Stakeholder Communication

n

- Represent the finance function in meetings with sponsors, investors, clients, and strategic partners.
n
- Present concise updates on budgets, financial performance, project risks, and ROI.
n
- Support commercial negotiations with data-driven financial insights.
n
- Build trust with stakeholders through transparent and timely financial reporting.
n

6. Financial Systems, Controls & Reporting

n

- Implement financial systems and reporting frameworks tailored to the organization's operating model.
n
- Maintain accurate, auditable records of transactions, contracts, and project documentation.
n
- Strengthen internal controls to ensure financial integrity and accountability.
n
- Ensure compliance with statutory, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements.
n

7. Strategic Financial Planning

- Partner with leadership to align financial strategy with business growth and long-term objectives.

- Develop financial models, scenario planning, investment cases, and business expansion frameworks.
n
- Guide capital allocation across new business initiatives, IPs, markets, and strategic partnerships.
n
- Provide commercial insights to support informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications Experience:

n

n
- Proven experience in finance, financial strategy, or dynamic Founder’s Office roles.
n
- Strong understanding of financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controls.
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex financial planning and cross-functional business initiatives.
n
- Familiarity with grant funding, CSR compliance, and fund utilization frameworks.
n
- Understanding of financial management within creative production or project-based business environments.
n
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively.
n
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to work across multiple teams and drive execution.
n
- Comfortable operating in quick-paced, ambiguous environments while managing risk and tight deadlines.
n
- High ownership mindset with the ability to independently prioritize and execute critical initiatives.
n
- Professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance), or an equivalent finance-related degree is strongly preferred.
