Role: System Installation Design Engineer- Catia V5

n

Location: Bangalore

n

Experience Range: 4-8 Years.

n

Required skillset: Strong experience in Aircraft Systems Installation Design, including integration of propulsion, fuel, hydraulic, environmental control, avionics, electrical, flight control, landing gear, and weapon systems within aircraft structures.

n

Must have:

n

n
- Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical, aerospace, or a related engineering discipline
n
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 for 3D modeling and drafting.
n
- Strong knowledge of LRU installation, packaging, and bracket design.
n
- Experience in routing of tubes, pipes, ducts, and electrical harnesses.
n
- Hands-on experience in creating installation, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
n




- Valuable understanding of GD&T; and aerospace drawing standards.
n
- Experience in clash detection, interference analysis, and clearance studies.
n
- Knowledge of aerospace standard parts, fittings, fasteners, and connectors.
n
- Experience with Teamcenter or other PLM tools for drawing release and configuration management.
n
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams including Structures, Systems, Stress, and Manufacturing.
n
- Understanding of DFMA principles and installation maintainability requirements.
n
- Experience in release of CAD models, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
n
- Exposure to aircraft design standards and aerospace development programs.
